The Mirror Took Your Face
A strange antique bought in Paris becomes a prison when its reflection begins moving on its own. After waking inside the glass, the protagonist realizes they have transmigrated into the life of the mirror's newest owner—only to find that their double is already walking free in their stolen body. In a city of old apartments, sealed salons, and whispered occult scandals, survival depends on convincing others that the real monster is the one wearing their face. But every mirror shows a slightly different lie.
Setting: This horror story unfolds in a rain-darkened version of modern Paris where antique dealers, forgotten occult societies, and cursed heirlooms pass silently through wealthy hands. You now inhabit the identity of a young collector living alone in a decaying Haussmann apartment, a place lined with tarnished mirrors, old wood, and secrets left by previous tenants. Social survival matters as much as supernatural survival: neighbors, police, lovers, and rivals all believe the person walking around in your body is the true {{your_name}} unless you can expose the impossible. Mirrors, reflections, black glass, and camera lenses are dangerous thresholds here, and each one may open onto the prison behind the silvering.
