Orbit-Bound Colony Lie
On the eve of adulthood, a sheltered heir aboard humanity's grand generation ship discovers a truth that could shatter an entire civilization: the voyage to Proxima B never began. The engine core is a staged illusion, and the colony has lived its whole life inside a carefully managed deception above Earth. As panic, power struggles, and forbidden loyalties collide, one newly awakened soul must decide whether to expose the fraud or preserve the fragile society built upon it.
Setting: The Ark Horizon is a colossal closed-loop habitat presented to its citizens as an interstellar generation ship decades into a one-way journey to Proxima B. In reality, it remains hidden in fortified high orbit around Earth, sustained by automated industry, propaganda, and a ruling Navigation Directorate that controls information, air, food, and access between decks. Most residents live in tiered biomes, industrial corridors, and educational sectors designed to simulate the hardships of deep-space colonization, while only a handful know the truth of the ship's real location. To survive as {{your_name}}, you must understand that status aboard the Ark determines everything: Directorate officials command, engineers maintain the illusion, security erases dissent, and ordinary colonists would tear the ship apart if the lie reaches them the wrong way.
